How to Use Bulk Actions: A Step-by-Step Guide

This guide will walk you through the process of using bulk actions to efficiently manage your products.

Step 1: Accessing Bulk Actions

  1. Navigate to the “Bulk Tasks” section in the left-hand navigation menu.
  2. Click on “Bulk Actions”. This will take you to the Bulk Actions interface.

Step 2: Creating a New Bulk Action

  1. On the Bulk Actions page, click the “Add New Action” button.
  2. You will now see a multi-step process to define your bulk action.

Step 3: Choosing Filtered Products

  1. Choose Filtered Products: This section allows you to select the products you want to apply the bulk action to.

Filtering Products

  1. Use the dropdown menu to select a filter (e.g., “All Products”).
  2. Click “Add Filter” to add more specific filters if needed.

Step 4: Choosing Set of Actions to Perform

  1. Choose Set of Actions to Perform: This section allows you to define the action(s) you want to perform on the selected products.

Defining Actions

  1. Use the dropdown menu to select an action (e.g., “AI Fix”).
  2. Configure the action details (e.g., “Description”).
  3. Click “Add Action” to add more actions if needed.

Step 5: Naming the Action

  1. Name this Action: Enter a descriptive name for your bulk action in the “Enter Action Name” field (e.g., “AI Fix”).

Step 6: Running the Action

  1. Click the “Save Action” button.
  2. The action will now appear in the list of available actions. Click the “Run this action” button to execute the action immediately.
  3. You can also preview the action before running it by clicking the “Preview” button.

Step 7: Confirmation and Running the Action

  1. After clicking “Run this action”, a confirmation pop-up will appear: “Are you sure you want to run this action?”
  2. This pop-up will also warn you that “This will trigger the action and nothing can be undone.”
  3. Click “Yes” to proceed or “No” to cancel.

Step 8: Action in Progress

The system will process the bulk action in the background.

Once confirmed, a message will appear: “Action is running now. It will take some time!”
