How to Export Your Product Data in CSV Format

This guide will walk you through the steps to export your product data in CSV format using the provided interface. Follow these steps carefully to ensure a successful export.

Step 1: Export Product Data in CSV Format

  1. Navigate to the Export Section:
    • Open the application and go to the Product Export section. This is where you can choose the platform or template for your export.
  2. Choose a Template:
    • You will see options like ShopifyProductsEtsyMagento, and Blog. Select the appropriate template based on your needs. For this guide, we will use the Shopify template.

Step 2: Map Your Export Columns

  1. Map Columns:
    • Once you have selected the template, you will be directed to a page where you can map the columns for your export.
    • The columns include:
      • Handle (Product)
      • Title (Product)
      • Description (Product)
      • Tags (Product)
      • title_collection
  2. Add Formulas (Optional):
    • You can choose to add formulas to any of the columns by selecting the With Formula option next to each column.
  3. Add Additional Rows:
    • If you need to add more rows or columns, click on the + Add Row button.

Step 3: Configure Export Settings

  1. Review Export Columns:
    • Ensure that all the necessary columns are selected and mapped correctly. The number of export columns will be displayed at the bottom (e.g., Export Columns: 5).
  2. Share Template (Optional):
    • If you want to share this template with others, you can do so by using the Share Template option.

Step 4: Initiate the Export

  1. Start the Export:
    • Click on the Export button to start the export process. You will receive a notification and an email once the export is ready.
  2. Download the CSV File:
    • Once the export is complete, download the CSV file from the provided link in the email or notification.

Step 5: Verify the Exported Data

  1. Check Product Completeness:
    • After exporting, you can check the Products Completeness section to ensure that all products have been exported correctly.
    • Review the Product Sync Status to see if any products were updated or synced during the export process.
  2. Review Other Completeness Scores:
    • Check other scores like Variants and Media to ensure all related data has been included in the export.
