Your media plays a big role in how your store looks and how customers engage with your products. With ShopGPT, you can automatically optimize images, fix quality issues, and improve media using AI — saving you time and storage space.

Where to Find Media Tools

  1. From the left-hand menu, go to Media.
  2. You will see:
    • Media Completeness Report (good images, needs improvement, bad images).
    • Total Images count.
    • Available Storage usage.
    • AI Image Fix Progress.

What You Can Do

1. Enhance Media

  • Improve sharpness, brightness, and overall image quality.
  • AI automatically detects issues like blur, poor lighting, or background noise and enhances them.

2. Compress Media

  • Reduce file size without losing quality.
  • Helps you save storage space (e.g., 120MB used out of 10GB shown in your dashboard).
  • Faster-loading images mean better site performance.

3. AI Fix

  • Use AI Enhance to automatically fix problems with images.
  • AI can:
    • Clean and refine product photos.
    • Remove imperfections.
    • Improve consistency across all product images.

Editing an Image with AI

  1. Go to Media.
  2. Select an image → Click Edit with AI.
  3. In the Edit Panel, you’ll see:
    • Current Image Preview.
    • Edit History (you can restore older versions anytime).
    • Image Details (size, type, dimensions).
    • AI Enhance Button (top-right).
  4. Click AI Enhance → wait for processing (you’ll see a timer if it takes a moment).
  5. Review the new result:
    • If you like it → click Accept.
    • If not → click Decline to keep the old one.

Media Completeness Overview

  • Good Images (✅) → Ready to use, no action needed.
  • Needs Improvement (⚠️) → AI suggests enhancements.
  • Bad Images (❌) → Poor quality, must be fixed before using.

This helps you prioritize which images to work on.

Edit History

Every change is saved:

  • You can Restore older versions anytime.
  • No risk of losing your original image.

Best Practices

  • Regularly check your Media Completeness Report to maintain high-quality visuals.
  • Use AI Enhance on images marked as “Needs Improvement.”
  • Compress large images before uploading to save space.
  • Always preview changes and accept only if the new version looks better.
